Jay Kratz, CMT, is certified through the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado. He specializes in Deep-Tissue, Neuromuscular therapy, Sports Massage and Light Touch. Jay’s knowledge of biomechanics, kinesiology and anatomy, along with his background in fitness and physical training assist him in providing the most appropriate therapy and healing technique based on an individual’s needs.
Philosophy
Jay believes in living in a sacred manner, honoring the blessings in life, and using Universal and elemental energies in his sessions. Jay has always been very in-tune with the body through his own physical training, and finds that his practice connects him to people in a way that promotes healing and personal development.
Jay is committed to creating optimal health and well-being. Whether one desires to move forward physically and push themselves to higher levels in sports or fitness training, or wants to let go of emotional blocks within the body for their own balance and health, Jay provides the appropriate therapy and space for this to take place.
Clients describe his bodywork as being a bridge between Eastern and Western thought, creating a fusion of healing touch. Additionally, Jay is also studying traditional Native American healing techniques, as well as energetic and intuitive wellness modalities.

Jay is a mentor and co-facilitator for Colorado Youth at Risk and has participated in workshops and transformational weekends to help inspire life-long growth with at-risk teens. The program has inspired Jay towards great personal development, and is something he is very passionate about and loves to be involved with. Jay also enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping, martial arts, yoga, biking and dancing.
